Contemporary Works

For your listening pleasure, I’m going to post links to performances of works that I am performing for my graduate recital on April 3rd.

I hope you enjoy these works.  They are taking a tremendous amount of practice and mental energy to pull off.

As an introduction, this is Nagoya Marimbas composed by Steve Reich, a pretty popular and now relatively standard piece in the percussion repertoire.  I’ll be playing it with fellow graduate student, Matt Moore.

I know it will be great! You always work harder than anyone. Be sure to Utube it so we can see it.

  3. I thoroughly enjoyed this performance on Matt’s recital! Well done, indeed!
